food lovers operating from Louvain-La-Neuve, near Brussels, with offices in Barcelona and Paris. Our strength? Our people!

🛠️ What you’ll do as a Senior Software Developer

As a Senior Software Developer at Qualifio, you’ll take ownership of key parts of our platform, from architecture to delivery. You’ll lead by example, guide other developers, and make strategic technical decisions that will shape the scalability, reliability, and performance of our products.

Here’s what your day-to-day could include:

• Collaborating with fellow developers, POs and PMs on high-impact, technically challenging projects

• Designing, building and maintaining robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript

• Contributing to full-stack development, building and refining frontend components in React to deliver complete, end-to-end features

• Defining and evolving architectural guidelines and helping drive our evolution toward a modern, distributed microservices ecosystem

• Building and refining secure, scalable APIs and SDKs for internal and public use

• Collaborating across teams to translate complex business needs into elegant, maintainable technical solutions

• Mentoring and guiding junior and medior developers to help them grow

• Leading by example through code quality, documentation, and testing best practices

• Improving performance and reliability, refactoring legacy systems, and introducing automation where it makes a difference

• Driving innovation, including the smart use of AI and emerging technologies to improve our products and developer experience

• Owning delivery from concept and architecture to production deployment and monitoring, ensuring high-quality, on-time releases

• Partnering with clients and integrating with their systems to become a key part of their data value chain

🧠 What we’re looking for

We know no one ticks every box, but if you’re nodding along, we want to talk:

• 6-10 years of professional experience in software development

• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with solid architectural understanding (microservices, event-driven systems, etc)

• Good understanding of frontend frameworks such as React or Vue

• Experience leading projects or small teams, including mentoring and code reviews

• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch

• Strong background in system design, APIs, and distributed systems

• Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices

• Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines, and comfortable with DevOps concepts

• Fluent in English and French

• Passionate about code. Always learning. Team-first mindset
